What can you expect at Grace Church of the Nazarene on Sunday mornings?

 

Grace Church meets every Sunday at 2924 S. Union St. Rochester, NY (Click here for directions). Our Worship Service is at 10:45 a.m. There will be signage to help you find your way around, but feel free to ask one of our greeters for assistance. The Worship Service typically lasts for a little more than an hour.

The Grace Café opens at 9:30 a.m. and features complimentary coffee, hot cocoa and pastries.

 

Each Sunday, Grace Church worships through engaging music that both glorifies and teaches us about God, a time of prayer, a children's moment, as well as a biblically grounded message. We pray God will speak to you and that you'll experience transformation through the work of the Holy Spirit as we are all sent to be the Body of Christ to the world.

 

What about kids? Every week, Nursery is available for infants through age 3. Our nursery staff is background checked and trained.

 

All ages begin the worship service together every week. Kids will be invited forwarded after prayer time for a short time with one of our pastors. On the 1st week of the month, they will stay in the service with those they came to church with and we will all participate in Communion after the message.

 

Additionally, on the 2nd,3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month during the Service, kids 4 years old through 5th grade will have the opportunity to go to Children's Church after the Children's Moment. In Children's Church, kids will participate in a lesson designed specifically for them on the same Scripture and topic that will be preached on in the Sanctuary.
